About our services
There is a good blend of both traditional and modern elements in our worship. We sing hymns modern and old, accompanied by our organist or New Creation, our praise band.
We read from the New International Version of the Bible and the sermons are normally based on the passages we have been reading from. We make good use of modern technology but retain a fairly traditional Church of Scotland pattern of worship.
Children and young people normally leave for KidZone and GodZone after around half an hour. Roughly once a month we have an all-age service when we all stay together for the whole time. Creche facilities are always available to along parents of young children to attend the service. Tea and coffee are served in the Hall of Fellowship afterwards.
Communion services are usually held on the third Sunday in January, April, June and October and informal communion services in the Side Sanctuary at other times during the year.
